I am leaving this godforsaken town for almost three weeks for Europe. Unfortunately, I only get three or four days in London and I don't get to go to Ireland or Scotland, I don't get to go to Paris, hell I don't even get to go to Rome. Most of our time will be spent in Germany of course, which is probably a bias on my step father's part as well as cost but whatever. At least I get to go to places in Northern Italy, or so he has said. We'll see if I get to at least go to Venice or Milan since Florence is too far south as well. But whatever, I'm not going to raise a fuss, that's my sister's job since she doesn't get to go to the yahcting paradise of Sardinia (although it is beautiful). At the very least I have to chance to go to Italy and Greece with Mrs. Watson and Ms. Ross next summer but we'll see how that turns out.
For now, it's off to San Francisco tomorrow for a day before our six am flight on friday, lovely time changes and crappy exchange rates included (stupid living on the west coast, stupid failing economy). Screw jetlag, I'm an insomniac with nocturnal leanings and I just bought two 8 gig memory cards for my memory card for thrity bucks at costco.
The hard part will be leaving the dogs behind though, I guess. I worry what will happen to my border collie when I move out of the house and have to live in a dorm or apartment that won't allow dogs, let alone small bears. My sister can't take care of a fish worth crap let alone the dogs. Damn England's stupid quarentine laws, they're just cruel.

i hope you'll like my other photos too.
